Recently, DNR had sent out a bulletin regarding the finding of the invasive species "mile a minute". While the leaves have shriveled and the berries have turned brown, one identifying feature is it looks like dark brown tinsel. #invasivespecies #mileaminute #invasivepests
Huron Pines partnered with Black Lake Preservation Society in August to treat invasive purple loosestrife along roadsides around #BlackLake. Volunteers clipped and bagged flower heads and we followed with herbicide, targeting only the loosestrife and protecting #nativeplants.
