Our goal is to stop the introduction, spread, and distribution of invasive weed species in the ecosystems along the lake Huron shoreline and adjacent ecosystems to which it connects. The Northeast Michigan CWMA focuses on the fight against invasive species along the Lake Huron shoreline in Northeast Michigan, but also includes inland invaders as well.
The Northeast Michigan CWMA covers Iosco, Alcona, Alpena, Presque Isle, Cheboygan, Otsego, Montmorency, Crawford, Oscoda, Roscommon and Ogemaw Counties.
