The Western Peninsula Invasives Coalition (WePIC), which was formerly known as the Western Upper Peninsula Cooperative Weed and Pest Management Area, covers 2.6 million acres and includes over 700 lakes, and 150 public boat access points. Our mission is the prevention, containment and management of non-native invasive species.
WePIC covers all of Gogebic, Iron and Ontonagon Counties as well as Ottawa National Forest.
