Southern Michigan Invasive Species Team

The Southern Michigan Invasive Species Team (SMIST) is committed to finding, managing and educating the public on invasive species in Branch, St. Joseph, and Hillsdale counties. The team is made up of a multitude of partners including conservation districts, local governments, nonprofits, tribes, and individuals who are invested in limiting the effects of invasive species on the environment, economy, and human health.
